Mark MacNish, Executive Director of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council, recounts his family's journey from Scotland to the running of the New Suffolk Hotel and subsequent experiences with other iconic local hotels, inns and clubs.

The focus of the presentation is the New Suffolk Hotel - it's origins and demise, but will include the Nassau Point Hotel, the Glenwood in Mattituck, the North Fork Country Club, the Robins Island Hunting Club as well as others. Years of research includes a look at transportation issues people faced in getting there and the sports tourism that was popular at the time.
