We love our oyster farmers!

This year’s Summer Soiree is a celebration of all the men and women who work (so hard!) in this industry and we invite everyone to come to the party as we honor them on August 20th.

We’ll be shucking hundreds and hundreds of Oysterponds, Peconic Golds and Peeko oysters right before your eyes. Come hungry!

We will also be shining a spotlight on Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Southold Project in Aquaculture Training Program (SPAT). Did you know that 17 of the 30 or so commercial oyster farmers operating on Long Island first learned how to grow oysters with SPAT before going on to open their own businesses?
