5th Annual New Suffolk Chowder Fest & Perennial Plant Sale

Location: The Galley Ho, First & Main St. New Suffolk, NY | View Map
12pm – 3pm
Locally prepared chowders, barbecue, live music with RockIT Science, incredible street art by Rod Tyron, children’s activities and games,
face painting and a huge perennial sale with over 50 varieties of plants,
all at the site of the U.S. Navy’s first submarine base. All proceeds go
toward the restoration and revitalization of the Waterfront property for
community benefit. Advance tickets @ newsuffolkwaterfront.org. Children
under 12 eat free.

New Suffolk Waterfront Sweet & Savory House & Garden Tour

Sign in at Fisher's Field, 2:00pm 2pm - 5pm This summer's tour will showcase fabulous and unique homes along historic Old Harbor Road in the hamlet of New Suffolk. Stroll along Old Harbor and step back in time. Sample mouthwatering sweet and savory foods, perfectly paired with wonderful North Fork wines. This year's venues will encompass some of the most interesting and spectacular homes on the North Fork. Included are an expansive waterfront shingle style home, a converted barn, a landmarked fisherman's cottage circa 1743, a vintage farmhouse decorated in a contemporary vibe, an 1858 sea captain's home complete with barn and four-seater outhouse, several beautiful gardens, and more. Tickets are $100 and all proceeds go toward the restoration and revitalization of the New Suffolk Waterfront property. The tour is from 2 to 5 p.m.
